Deeley Motorcycle Exhibition

Visiting the Deeley Motorcycle Exhibition, one of the largest private motorcycle collections in Canada which showcases the history and evolution of the motorcycle. The exhibition is located in the Trev Deely Harley-Davidson dealership which features an extensive line of Harley Davidson merchandise.

Showcasing one of the finest private motorcycle collections in Canada, the Deeley Exhibition preserves the beauty and history of these mechanical marvels in our state of the art facility. Owners Malcolm Hunter and Don James began with a vision for a motorcycle museum that offered an authentic experience and encouraged visitors to get excited about the evolution and history of the motorcycle.

Their vision highlights the impressive collection of Trev Deeley. The experience starts at the curved steel storefront and continues to an interactive orbital map which allows visitors to explore destination rides across British Columbia and Washington state. A rotating turntable in the rear of the museum showcases featured bikes, while a photo op area and our always present, helpful staff greet you upon your entrance.

Located in the same facility as Canada’s oldest Harley-Davidson dealership, Trev Deeley Motorcycles, the Deeley Exhibition is a must see for anyone with an interest in steel on two wheels.

Fort Langley Community Hall (Air Bud, Supernatural, Once)

In 1924, the Fort Langley Community Improvement Society was formed by the Fort Langley Women’s Institute under then President Mrs. Hector Morrison. The Fort Langley Community Improvement Society’s first project was to replace the insufficient town hall. With an end goal in sight, the society worked hard to raise the $137.13 to buy the property from the Municipality (This amount was owed in back taxes.)

Upon completion of fundraising, the society hired prominent Vancouver architect Archibald Campbell Hope to design the hall. Construction began October 15, 1930. With the help of hired carpenters and unpaid volunteers alike, the hall took shape.

On March 6th, 1931, as the building was near completion, a formal opening and inaugural ball was organized, and attended by civic dignitaries and the local Member of Parliament. Photochrome reprints of paintings by John Innes decorated the walls

Soon after, the iconic maple trees were planted on the property by board of directors; men planted trees on the north end of the property, and women on the south.

IT (1990) Filming Locations

We celebrated the spooky season by exploring Stephen Kings It Filming Locations! IT was a 1990 American ABC two-part psychological horror miniseries adapted from Stephen King's 1986 novel of the same name. The story revolves around a predatory monster which has the ability to transform itself into its prey's worst fears, allowing it to exploit the phobias of its victims. It mostly takes the humanoid form of a darkly comedic clown called Pennywise. The protagonists are The Lucky Seven, or The Losers Club, a group of outcast kids who discover Pennywise and vow to kill him by any means necessary. The series takes place over two different time periods, the first when the Losers first confront Pennywise as children in 1960, and the second when they return as adults in 1990 to defeat him a second time after he resurfaces .

Riverdale Filming Location: Pop's Chocklit Shoppe

A familiar Riverdale Filming Locations, Rocko's Diner is seen in the Riverdale Netflix series as Pop's Chocklit Shoppe. Known originally as Nick’s Diner and then the Hi-Lite Burger Bar, it likely would have been the perfect hangout for Archie, Jughead, Betty, Veronica and all the rest of the gang from the Archie comics series.

Rocko’s was used as Pop’s Chock’Lit Shoppe in just the pilot episode for the show, with the production building their own version on a lot in Langley after the show was green-lit. But images of Rocko’s were used in promotional shots, and it’s now the closest that fans of the show can get to experiencing life in Riverdale.

Over 60 years Rocko’s is still standing, and now, thanks to the magic of television, Archie and the gang from the hit show Riverdale have actually hung out at the iconic Mission establishment.

Rocko’s Diner is one of the last free standing diners in BC. We are family owned and operated and take a great sense of pride in being a successful independent restaurant in this time of franchised and national chains. Percy Jackson the Lightning Thief, The Tortured, Killer Amongst Us are a few of the movies that have used Rocko’s as a site location.
