Statue of Liberty Museum

Liberty Island is the federally owned island in Upper New York Bay which is home to the Starting off Liberty which was gifted to the United States by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi in 1886. Ellis Islands was the United States' busiest immigrant inspection station from 1892 to 1954, with approximately 12 million immigrants arriving at the Port of New York.
