Old Country Market: Goats on Roof

Old Country Market in Coombs BC, also known as Goats on Roof, is one of the most famous sod covered buildings in the world. In the summer months their resident goats stand and feed on the grass roof above visitors. Inside is an eclectic market featuring unique goods that you're unlikely to see anywhere else.

BRITANNIA MINE TOUR

View of historic multilevel mining building at Britannia Mine Museum The Britannia Mine Museum, located 55 km kilometres north of Vancouver, British Columbia on the Sea-to-Sky Highway, preserves and presents to the public information and artifacts related to British Columbia's mining industry.

The museum is the site of Mill 3, a20 story building, a gravity fed concentrator for ore processing, was designated as a National Historic Site of Canada in 1987 an an important source of copper ore for almost 70 years and during the 1920s and 1930s it constituted one of the largest mining operations in Canada.

Visitors are given a mine tour including a train ride through an historic haulage tunnel, driven in 1914 to transport ore from the original mill buildings to the shore. The site is also a popular location for film and TV productions, most notably Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, the The X-Files, Okja, The Man in the High Castle and MacGyver

Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre

Visitors to the SLCC experience cultural regeneration in action as workers share their rich cultures & traditions while refining their skills in drumming, carving, weaving, story telling, button blanket making and more.

Sea to Sky Gondola


The Sea to Sky Gondola is located along the world-famous Sea to Sky Highway/Hwy 99, between Vancouver and Whistler and just south of the  south of Squamish. The Sea to Sky Gondolas take visitors on a ten minute ride, lifting them 3000 feet above sea level while taking in views  of snow-capped mountains, old-growth forests and the waters of the Howe Sound. Once at the top, you can hike to several scenic viewing platforms and observation decks and test your nerves on a 1000 meter long suspension bridge.

Osoyoos Desert Model Railway

The Osoyoos Desert Model Railroad features the largest Marklin train set display in North America, featuring over 2,000 buildings, 19,000 miniature people and 45 trains! People of all ages enjoy exploring and interacting with the Marklin model train display and its often humorous scenes. The Desert Railway was featured on the Amazing Race Canada when competitors had to search for miniature figure of host Jon Montgomery hidden somewhere within the 4000 sq foot display.
