Sasquatch Museum

close up of sasquatch statue The Harrison Sasquatch Museum dares visitors to believe as they explore artifacts, history, witness accounts, science, lore, and myths surrounding the legendary Sasquatch.

Exhibits include the Patterson-Gimlin amateur movie clip that captured all the world’s attention, casts of the foot impressions taken that day, casts of other famous Bigfoot sightings in the Pacific Northwest and the journals of canadian journalist John Green who dedicated much of his professional life to documenting and finding the elusive creature.

The history of the Sasquatch with both First Nations and settlers is part of what makes it so unique. As the anglicized pronunciation the Sts’ailes word, Sa:sq’ets, the Sasquatch is the “primary caretaker who watches over the land” and is integral to the Sts’ailes people.
